God created the universe. He set the galaxies in motion, gave the mountains their height and the seas their depth. He formed the heavens and the earth by His command and is the source of life for everything that exists. He rules over principalities and powers and holds time and eternity in His hands. YET, in all His sovereignty and glory, God looks forward to and delights in the praise of His children.

Praise lifts us beyond our experiences and connects us to the One who has displayed Himself through our experiences. We get to honor God in light of what He has done.
In “Wake Up and Praise!” we rehearse and internalize the wondrous works of God, feeding our souls a constant, refreshening stream of His life. As His life cascades throughout our being, we have an assurance of spiritual vibrancy and a fruit-bearing life.

How to Use
“WAKE UP AND PRAISE!”
Each section includes four pages that begin with scripture and end with prayer.
1. Begin by thanking God for Jesus, His loving-kindness, and grace. Thank Him for the ability to read and understand the things of God and for the privilege to praise Him freely.
2. Read the Scriptures that are before the Prophetic Affirmations page. Read each word slowly. Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Take time to listen and write down whatever He says.
3. Speak the Prophetic Affirmations ALOUD . As you speak them repeatedly and with intent, they will renew your mind, increase your faith, and strengthen you to do the things God created you to do. Be sure to read the motivational prompts in between each set of affirmations.
4. Read the Words of Inspiration for encouragement and insight.
5. Lift your voice in Prayerful Praise . These prayers focus more on the goodness and greatness of God rather than petitions and intercessions. They are formatted to keep your spirit engaged in praise and thanksgiving.

Embrace each day as a gift, a chance to realize a dream, achieve a goal or do something fun, memorable, extraordinary, or meaningful. Welcome each day as an opportunity to make a difference in someone else’s life, which is God’s will for those in Christ. According to Ephesians 2:10 TLB, “It is God himself who has made us what we are and given us new lives from Christ Jesus and that we should spend these lives helping others.”
Some people need what you have, just as there are people who have what you need. It could be praying for someone, sharing words of comfort, providing transportation, warm clothes, a meal, or just conversation. It can also be sharing your gifts and talents with others. The list is endless.
Depend on God to show you what to do and where to go. Listen for His voice through prayer, insight, and revelation. God will lead you in the right direction and give you divine connections. Consider nothing as coincidence but as the providence of God, then step out in faith as you hear from Him. Praise God for the plans He has for your life. Thank God for giving you a life worth living!
