Winter is a liturgical resource book that covers the months of November, December and January. It includes the major Christian festivals of All Saints’, Advent, Christmas and Epiphany, as well as material for Remembrance, Blue Christmas, Christingle, New Year and Christian Unity.
It’s twelve years since I first began compiling and editing a series of resource books that covered the liturgical year, and it’s been good to begin again, in a slightly different format, with Winter .
I’ve defined each season by the month that contains the solstice or equinox and the month either side of it. Given the quality and amount of material that was contributed to this book, completing the series in due course, with Spring , Summer and Autumn , should be a pleasure and a delight.
