There is a clear distinction between reality and the illusions created within the mind. However, that clear distinction can also acts as a mirror, reflecting the reality that you wish to see.
Nonetheless, how would you feel if there was someone else on the other side of that mirror reading your thoughts and figuring out your thinking patterns?
Of course, you would feel uncomfortable as another person suddenly questions your authority. You might even start to question yourself and wonder if you’ve been in the wrong this whole time.
Yet, the surprise is the fact that they didn’t do any of that. They only made you believe that they did because you came to the conclusion that they were right.
In truth, what they did was hypnotize you by influencing your subconscious mind, which is the part of your mind that mainly influences your actions and feelings.
You can say that hypnotism is closely related to persuasion. However, there are differences between the two and there are separate fields that you should know in order to fully utilize the ability to hypnotize another individual: understanding the full potential of hypnotism, mastering NLP, and comprehending the subject of mentalism.
The beauty of hypnotism is the fact that it can be used for anything. Many professions such as politics, communications, and advertisements uses a method similar to hypnotism in order to attract more consumers and individuals to follow under their leadership or to buy their products.
By mastering hypnotism, you are able to persuade, and possibly manipulate the people around you.
You will be able to make others love you, or make others hate you. Whatever you do with this skill is entirely up to you, but know that consequences are a possibility.
Before we head on to the actual lesson, you must know that hypnotism requires you to have social skills. It’s all right if you’re not a social person because, by the end of this book, your social skills will become your forte. Unfortunately, there are limitations that you should keep in mind.
Hypnotism is not a method that will force the other party to go against their will. Rather, hypnotism is a method that can help you influence the other party’s will and desires by attacking an individual’s subconscious mind.
Remember, you have to take responsibility for what you do. However you use this ability is entirely up to you.
Therefore, if something were to go wrong, it is entirely your fault and it is your responsibility to take care of it. With that in mind, it’s time to start.
Chapter 1: What is Hypnosis
Hypnosis is the method of persuading others through their subconscious mind. As you move on into the next chapter, we will discuss about the two different types of hypnosis, which is self-hypnosis and hetero-hypnosis.
Self-hypnosis is the act of hypnotizing yourself by repeating a certain message in your mind until it starts to affect you. Hetero-hypnosis is the act of having another individual hypnotizing you during a relaxed stage, which is what you will be doing to others.
Just like any subject, hypnosis has its own set of laws and principles that you must follow in order to understand the concept behind it.
Being able to utilize what you know is much more difficult than you think it is and there is a high chance of mistakes when you do not know the basic fundamentals of it.
As mentioned before, there are two different types of hypnosis as there is three different set of fields that you must know in order to master the art of hypnotism.
Since hypnotism has more to cover, it will be talked about in the next chapter when we also move onto self and hetero hypnotism. Afterwards, we will move onto the deeper end of NLP and Mentalism.
In this chapter we will only take a peak at the basic concepts of the two fields related to hypnotism: NLP and Mentalism. We will also talk about the myths of hypnotism and persuasion before the section ends.
Afterwards, we will discuss the basic premise of how hypnotism works. Finally, we will spend a short time discussing how hypnotism can be used for good and bad.
NLP
The actual term of NLP is Neuro Linguistic Programming, which is the act of examining the way people think and process information. From there, you look at ways in order to alter the collected information in order to change certain habits and beliefs.
NLP is not directly linked to hypnotism. However, the knowledge of NLP is very useful in order to better improve your hypnotism skills. Since having to learn all the necessary functions of how NLP work takes too long, we will only be learning about the aspects of NLP that is closely related to hypnotism.
In this section, we will only take a sneak peak at what NLP can do to help enhance your hypnosis abilities. Since the actual description of NLP takes too long, we will start to go further in depth with it during chapter 3.
