Whilst the greatest effort has been made to ensure the quality of this text, due to the historical nature of this content, in some rare cases there may be minor issues with legibility. NO attempt has been made to include problems other than those used to illustrate the principles discussed, as two sets of problems on alternating currents, much more comprehensive than could have been incorporated in the book. Were already published by Professor W. V. Lyon under the titles Problems in Electrical Engineering and Problems in Alternating Cur rent Machinery.
