Seven: God’s perfect number. The number seven, generally refers to spiritual perfection and /or completion. God created the earth in six days, and the seventh day was the day of rest called the Sabbath. We know that seven appears many times in the bible. Also the rainbow has seven colours which God put it into the sky to promise us that He would not destroy the earth with a flood again.
The book ‘Seven Perfect Promises of God’ is to encourage and inspire you to know more about God’s love, His character and how we can rely on Him to help and support us in all situations. The bible is full of promises and in the first book, (series one) I have written seven promises that you can read and meditate on while discovering God’s secret mysteries of His awesome character. God’s promises will also help you to understand your purpose and destiny here on earth.
The design of this devotion book is to give you confidence that His promises are for you personally. This book is bilingual, written in Chinese and English. Reading these promises every day of the week and / or when you feel the need to be encouraged, will be a blessing to you. The format on each page will be:
1. Title of the promise
2. Quoted scripture from the bible
3. A thoughtful devotional to encourage and challenge you
4. Questions that are to help you spiritually grow
5. Finally, concluded by a thoughtful prayer
I am encouraging you to make it a habit to seek God’s promises each day and allow God to fill you with His joy. Seeking God’s promises daily, will help provide you with a purpose and hope for today and into the future. Reading this book will remind you of God’s awesome promises for you.
