L’architecture ou l’art d’édifier des édifices
L’architecture dans le sens commun du terme est donc une discipline artistique qui va constituer en la conception d’édifices complexes, de bâtiments, de ponts, d’aqueducs, de ports ou même de villes entières. Même s’il est vrai que toutes les formes d’architecture ne peuvent pas être considérées comme de l’art, certaines constructions d’architecte, et ce depuis la nuit des temps, sont de véritables œuvres d’art. Le design artistique
Terme anglophone parlant signifiant conception, le design est avant tout industriel. Cependant, il est très courant d’utiliser le terme design avec un point de vue artistique. D’ailleurs, de nombreux objets ou mobilier sont considérés comme « design » ce qui veut dire qu’ils sont presque des œuvres d’arts. Un objet design sera donc proche de la création artistique, mais il en est différencié par la fonctionnalité de l’objet que n’a pas une œuvre d’art.
